Bed bug treatment in Budapest and Pest County

Professional, licensed pest control for apartments, hotels and short-stay rentals. We offer a fully chemical-free treatment using 180 °C dry steam — safe for children, pets and guests, with no drying time before the room can be used again.

Why chemical-free?

Conventional insecticides cannot kill bed bug eggs — the eggshell protects them from the active substance. This is why chemical treatments must be repeated 10–14 days later, once the eggs have hatched.

Dry steam at 180 °C destroys eggs on contact. In the vast majority of cases a single visit is therefore sufficient. Nothing is left behind in the room: no residue, no smell, no waiting period.

The six-step protocol

1 · Industrial HEPA vacuuming Physical removal of live insects, shed skins, droppings and accumulated allergens, using an H13 HEPA-filtered machine. The sealed bag is removed from the property.

2 · 180 °C dry steam Applied seam by seam with a Polti Cimex Eradicator, developed specifically against bed bugs and mites. Kills adults, larvae and eggs instantly. The mattress does not get wet.

3 · Industrial ozone treatment A 10,000 mg/h generator breaks down the scent trails, pheromones and dried droppings left behind — the very things that attract other bed bugs back.

4 · Physical-action fine spray A silicone-polymer product applied directly into mattress seams, bed frame joints and behind headboards. It forms a physical film — no neurotoxin, and no resistance can develop.

5 · Mineral dusting 100% natural diatomaceous earth applied behind skirting boards, sockets and furniture. It creates a dry barrier that remains effective for months.

6 · Monitoring traps We install monitoring traps at the bed legs and other critical points, so you can verify the result yourself. Leave them in place — a glance now and then is enough.

Indicative starting prices, not a binding offer. The final price is confirmed on site, before work begins, and does not change afterwards. Call-out and survey are free of charge within our service area. As a VAT-exempt sole trader, no VAT is added — the quoted amount is the amount payable.

A single online review mentioning bed bugs can undo years of reputation. We work with unmarked vehicles and discreet equipment, and after the chemical-free treatment the room can be let again immediately — there is no drying time and no residue.

What we ask from you

Success depends as much on preparation as on the treatment itself. Before we arrive, please wash bedding and textiles at 60 °C, make furniture accessible, and do not move items out of the affected room — that is the most common way an infestation spreads through a property.
